The PUMAGRIP ATR rubber outsole has been revamped with PUMA's PWRADAPT tech, allowing the lugs to move independently with the ground for supreme traction on multi terrain. PUMA's new, wider upper has been reinforced with PWRTAPE for support and protection, and the forefoot drain ports shed water like a champ. "These are the lightest trail shoes I've owned in at least the last 10 years and possibly ever, at 8. 5 oz for size M 7. 5. If you step on a sharp rock between the lugs you'll feel it since there's nothing but soft foam, but a rock plate would be heavier. The forefoot is relatively snug."
