Very Comfortable Walking/Light Trail Shoe
"The Demolisher Mid is comfortable out of the box. Light for a mid high, feels like would need a just little bit of breaking in. Good side to side stability & support for ankles. Not very good in forefoot for side to side stability, structure & support, so would not work for sports (tennis, basketball, pickleball) that need quick side to side starts and stops, or more serious hiking that would require forefoot twisting & support. Appears more suited for suburban road walking and easy packed dirt/gravel trails without serious uphills and downhills. Outsole wear is quite high, I’ve only walked for a little over a mile and the wear is noticeable, making you question if you were walking on sandpaper. *Note: this seems in construction the same as the Hi-Tec Destroyer Mids I have from a few years back (which were great) except for some cosmetic differences. * If this is indeed the same construction/shoe then there is a second issue besides the outer sole wear, which would be upper construction is not sturdy and will see creases and tears in material on side of big toe and little toe balls of feet. These 2 points are only an issue if it’s the same as Destroyer, as once you break the shoe in, it will be so soft and comfortable that you’d wish the upper and outsole were sturdier so it would last longer! I feel the comfort gained might be a fair trade off here. Overall, having only had these for a few days I am very happy with fit and comfort of shoe. Cannot give it 5 stars because of the outer sole wear rate and possible upper construction. Will come back and update after breaking in. Recommended overall if you are looking for light mid high walking /light trail walking shoe."
