The Vibram Alpha Plus TC4+ outsole is specially designed for high-heat applications like steel fabrication and welding and is also abrasion-resisting, slip-resisting and oil-resisting. This boot meets ASTM 2892 safety footwear standards, which means this boot covers minimum requirements for the performance of footwear to provide protection against a variety of workplace hazards other than the toe area that can potentially result in injury.
