These shoes broke my foot

I have high arches and the sole of these is very flat, absolutely no arch support. I was walking really fast in these and my fourth metarsal bone was fractured. I have since had to wear running shoes all the time, and after trying to wear them one last time, the pain returned and I just ended up buying a new pair immediately and throwing these in the trash.
