The shoe is comfortable. I like its simplicity in the design. I am disappointed, however, that after seven months of light to moderate wear the upper has torn free from the sole. It has ripped on both shoes at the inside near the base of the big toe where the rubber meets the upper. It's a shame, because I like the shoe otherwise, although it did squeak for the first four or five weeks, which was okay unless I was in a library or something. The last pair of sneakers I had a kept for a few years.
