I use sketchers work alloy shoes in a factory that I sometimes work 12 hour shifts in. Cement floors requires better cushioning and side support. These shoes healed my feet from a previous pair of a more expensive brand that I tried for 2 months prior to getting this pair. It's like walking in a cloud in these things by comparison. I've bought sketchers brand in the past, so I would recommend getting the size you would get non steel toe. Seems like they make the work shoes just a little bit wider for comfort; probably knowing full well you will be on your feet all day in them! They are lighter than your average steel toe being alloy.... The only negative aspects I could possibly think of for these would be the lack of color variety found here. Quite frankly though, comfort in this case, trumps looks hands down. The design on the bottom of the shoe seems to attract dirt build-up.....but that might just be because of where I work?
