I have only worn these on a turf field so far. At first they gave me blisters on the inside of my right heel, and the outside of my left heel. I took a weekend off of wearing my SG shoes and wore my regular shoes. During the time I was breaking the shoes in, I taped up my blisters, and was wearing two pairs of socks. After about 5 days of playing with them like the aforementioned for about two hours a day my blisters only turn up if I play in hot weather for more than 2 hours without a break between the hours. If you don't get blisters while breaking in the firm ground option of this shoe, then you should definitely not have the problems I did. I strike the ball much cleaner on my sweet spot with these shoes than the newer adipure III's. I also bend the ball much more when hit right with the adipure II SG. In summary, I really like this shoe!
