I have the Spyder style of shoe from Piloti - very comfortable, so I decided to try the Stradales. Very uncomfortable shoe. My Spyders are size 9 so I ordered the same size, but for this shoe, a 9 1/2 would probably better. The problem is that the shoe has stitching in the toe box with some extra material there and very stiff leather next the the big toe causing the the toe area to be a little tight (maybe just my foot). As a result, I can't wear them for more than a hour or two. Unfortunately, you can't really figure this out until you've worn them a while - too late to return them. I'm going back to their more traditional shoe, i.e., kind of like tennis shoes - much, much more comfortable and can easily be worn all day.
