I joined an aquatic fitness center and most of the women wear water shoes. I saw these and they looked good because they look more like a walking sneaker. I'm 61 and do water exercises and today I used the shoes and was able to maneuver around a lot better than not wearing them. I have wide feet (WW or EEE) so I ordered a half size LARGER than the 8 that I usually wear. The 8 1/2 at first try on started to slip off my left foot, until I tightened up the strap at the heel area. They are perfect!! I definitely would recommend these for water exercises.
