I like these shoes. Shoes run a bit small. I wear size 5.5 Nike Free and I wear 6 for Air Rift. While these shoes helps my bunions by separating my big toe to the others, the velcro rubber bands are cut way too short. That's the reason I labeled this shoes very narrow. The width of the shoes itself is fine but the velcro closures certainly are way too short. I have normal and skinny, fat-less feet. I don't have high arch or anything. But if I pulled the velcro to the max, the rubber bands are almost cutting my blood circulation. The bands are not by all means comfortable to wear. The soles are comfy though as most nike shoes are. The only way I could make this comfortable for me is to attach the velcro closure at the very top leaving 1 3/4 of the velcro bottom uncovered. so they look kinda ridiculous. Rubber bands could be at least 1.5 inches longer. It might be different for other sizes, I don't know. Whose feet Nike were measuring? I wear size 6. My foot is about 22.3 cm, The widest part is 9 cm and the widest circumference of my foot is about 23 cm. I'm thinking of adding more rubber band or something to extend the length of the rubber bands but I don't know if I could do it without making it look ugly.. I'm still on the fence whether to return or to keep these shoes.
