Half-Court Press – As opposed to “Full-Court Press” when the defense waits to begin guarding the offense until they get the ball into the Frontcourt
Half-Court or Set Offense -- The opposite of a “Fast Break,” this is when the offense takes time to develop a play such as the “Screen” or “Give and Go” in the frontcourt
High Percentage Shot -- A shot with good odds of scoring, such as a “Dunk” or “Layup”
High Post -- the unmarked region outside the “Foul Lane” at the “Free-throw Line Extended”
Home Court Advantage – The idea that a team performs better on its hometown court because of familiarity fan support, etc. This idea is prevalent in all sports, though the exact advantage is debatable.
