Game Clock -- Tracks remaining game time. Regulation play in the NBA is divided into 12 minute quarters (10 minutes in the WNBA. College games are split into 20 minute halves

Give and Go – A “Ball Handler” “Passes” the ball to a teammate and then hurries to get open near the basket for a return pass

Goal Tending – Interfering with a shot at the “Basket” when the ball is on its downward path, on the rim, or inside the “Cylinder”

Guards -- Generally, the smallest players and least physical in a traditional five player lineup, the “Point Guard” and “Shooting Guard” are mostly responsible for creating scoring opportunities for their teammates and for “Outside Shooting”
 
Guarding --  covering an offensive opponent (whether or not he or she has the ball) in an attempt to prevent him or her from making an offensive play (shooting, passing, etc.) ideally without committing any sort of “Foul”.
