The 80 year-old theater saw cyclists, marathon runners and endurance sports enthusiasts fill its seats for the viewing of independent films, and the festival closed with the feature film "Breaking Away," a classic film that has inspired many cyclists. Many feel that this film is the best cycling film ever made. It stars Dennis Christopher, Dennis Quaid and Daniel Stern and is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2009. Not only were amateur athletes on hand, but mountain bike legends Gary Fisher and Charlie Kelly were on hand as well. The second film of the day, "Klunkerz," was a documentary that highlighted the birth of the mountain bike and the exponential growth of the sport. These two living legends were on hand to host a Q&A after the movie's viewing.
