Slipper

A slipper (or house shoe) is a type of shoe made strictly for wear inside or around one's home. A slipper can have an enclosed heel or be backless, be open or close-toed, have a rubber or suede sole and will always provide warmth and comfort for the foot. There are several variations of the slipper such as:

• Backless and open-toe
• Backless and close-toe
• Moccasin style
• Booties
• Socks

Slippers have become a way to detach from the outside world and relax. They are often warm and cozy making the transition from work to home very smooth. Slippers work to keep one's foot warm during the winter due to the polyester, faux fur or other insulating material that is used inside of the shoe. Slippers come in a variety of colors and styles to suit the tastes of any person. Slippers should not be worn outside of the house because the entire point is to prevent outside dirt from coming into the home.
