Ski Boots
Ski boots are made specifically for skiing, as they are the only way for skis to attach to your feet. Ski boots have special ski bindings or clips that allow them to attach to the skis. Originally they were crafted out of leather, but as technology progressed, materials changed to hard plastic boots with an insulated foam shell for comfort.
The internal foam shell can be made in a variety of thicknesses based on the wearer's preference. Thicker shells are usually worn for warmth and comfort, while the thinner ones are great for control and precision. Ski boots are usually much larger than the foot itself because it is essential for them to be the right fit for the skis. Ski boots can be easily detached from the skis for walking; however, this should not be done on concrete or other hard surfaces as it could ruin the brackets used for attachment.
