The adidas ProPLATE is a stiff elastic plate that restricts the movement in the forefoot to minimize exhaustion for a more efficient stride. It refines the movement of the foot to enhance running performance. The ProPLATE is constructed to make the wearer run faster by adding a spring feeling to the shoe. The stiffness of the elastic plate is meant to decrease power loss and thus increase speed.
