Nike-FIT

The term Nike-FIT refers to the Nike brand apparel made out of Dri-FIT, Therma-FIT, Clima-FIT and Storm-FIT fabrics; all of which allow athletes to perform under adverse weather conditions. The four Nike-FIT fabrics are a blend of different materials which allow the wearer to achieve the maximum protection in all climates. Adverse weather conditions include:

  • Wind
  • Heat
  • Cold
  • Rain
  • Varying extreme temperatures

The Dri-FIT apparel focuses on moisture management by wicking away moisture to keep the wearer dry in hot or cold climates. The Dri-FIT technology transports the sweat from your skin to the outer layer of the fabric so that it can be evaporated. The fabric is very lightweight and breathable so it provides nothing but dry comfort. The Therma-FIT apparel focuses on an exceptional weight to warmth ratio, ensuring that the wearer stays warm but is also able to move freely. The micro fleece material forms air pockets in which body heat is continuously circled throughout and resists heat loss to the outer surface.

The Clima-FIT apparel is water resistant, keeping the wearer protected from light rain, sleet, snow and wind. The technology resists the permeability of outside precipitation yet allows perspiration vapor to exit, making the wearer dry on the inside and outside. The Storm-FIT breathable apparel provides superior protection from outside moisture, while carrying away sweat from the body. The Storm-FIT technology is the second level in the protection from inclement weather moisture, as Clima-FIT protects from light moisture.
