Max Air cushioning

The term Max Air cushioning is used in conjunction with the Nike Air Max line and describes the maximum amount of pressurized gas that when fitted into the air sole units is able to provide maximum cushion benefits. The bigger the air sole unit is and the more of the shoe it covers, the less amount of traditional cushioning material is needed. There are several different types of Nike Air Max shoes, which have evolved over the years since their conception in 1987. Max Air cushioning is more durable as a midsole than traditional foam, meaning your shoe will retain its original comfort for a longer time.
