Inseam

An inseam is the hidden seam in a welted shoe which holds together the welt, upper, insole and lining. An inseam is usually a stitching made with thread or another thin material meant to securely adjoin the pieces of the shoe together. If the inseam comes undone, the construction of the shoe will begin to fall apart. The inseam, if it should come undone, needs to be replaced immediately.
