Galoshes are oversized rain boots meant to protect the foot and existing footwear during inclement weather. Galoshes are heavy-duty boots made to fit over one's existing shoes, making them the ultimate in inclimate weather protection. Galoshes are made of rubber and are meant to prevent one's footwear from getting wet or muddy.
