You're currently on:Combi-LastedThe term combi-lasted refers to the dual construction of a shoe. Combi-lasted shoes are constructed by slip lasting in the forefoot, meaning the forefoot was made without an insole board and an insole in the rearfoot. This type of construction provides the wearer with a very lightweight and flexible forefoot. The rear foot in a combi-lasted shoe is made with an insole board to control the excess motion in that portion of the shoe. The combi-lasted technique is typically used in the construction of a running shoe due to the many needs of the runner while engaging in the sport. |
