ClimaCool

The term ClimaCool refers to the adidas brand ventilated apparel and footwear. The footwear has a completely ventilated mesh upper, sock liner and sole. The ClimaCool apparel conducts heat and sweat away from the skin through the use of a three dimensional fabric which allows the air to circulate close to the skin.

ClimaCool footwear is constructed to reduce heat and moisture accumulation, allowing for the cooling of the entire foot within a shoe. The footwear has ventilation ducts placed at strategic areas around the foot to maximize air velocity around the foot. The ClimaCool footwear provides a forty percent increase in ventilation over a traditional running shoe.
