Cambrelle

The term cambrelle refers to DuPont's durable textured fabric lining found within certain brands of shoes, including Carolina. The fabric removes moisture from the skin that can and will accumulate during high level activity, thus providing an additional level of warmth in colder climates and dryness in hot climates. The Cambrelle lining is capable of absorbing three and one half times its own weight in moisture, assuring dry feet. The moisture is released after the footwear is removed. The cambrelle fabric makes it possible for the wearer to perform their activity for a longer amount of time regardless of the weather. Cambrelle fabric can be also found in tops, bottoms and other styles of apparel.
