The Abzorb SBS is an engineered non-cellular elastomer (a polymer with the property of elasticity) designed to provide optimal shock absorption and no compression set. It is made from elastomer material, therefore it is not cell-structured like foam and has a low density. It is another in the line of New Balance's cushioning devices that can be combined with other technology within the Abzorb family. The Abzorb SBS lessens the shock of impact by dissipating the energy throughout the body. The device does not break down after repeated impacts making it the perfect choice for runners.
