Abzorb FL is the superior cushioning device exclusive to New Balance that extends the full-length of the midsole to provide consistent cushioning and stability to the foot. The Abzorb FL disperses the shock of impact up the leg and body so that all of the pressure does not radiate within the foot. The only difference between the Abzorb FL and the other Abzorb devices is that the FL extends the full length of the midsole, hence the FL in the name. The Abzorb FL also resists the compression set so that the wear can wear the shoes repeatedly. The technology is able to resist the compression set due to a number of factors:
