The C-CAP is a high-pressure molded EVA element which results in a firm yet lightweight and cushioned midsole within the New Balance shoe. The C-CAP is an important component of many New Balance running shoes because it adds cushioning without minimizing the flexibility of the shoe. The foot gets additional comfort yet it is still allowed to move naturally within the shoe.
