MS150 Ride Surpasses Team's Expectations!

Bike MS Vertical BannerThe Bike MS Bay to Bay Tour 2009 came to a close under sunny skies, and when all the dust cleared and the numbers were counted, Team SHOEBACCA raised over $23,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!

"We rolled out from Oceanside with 44 riders in tow, shoulder to shoulder, double-wide straight back; it was an incredible sight to see all of Team SHOEBACCA's riders taking off together," said Dee Folse with Team SHOEBACCA. "It was a total team effort for the entire 150 miles of the ride, and to know that all of these riders worked so hard to raise the money and then come through on the ride too made a real impression on me and everyone involved."

This super fun ride saw men and women donning their Team SHOEBACCA gear and hitting the pedals with an intensity only matched by their efforts leading up to the event. Team SHOEBACCA raised over $23,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the numbers are still coming in, as the fundraising doesn't close until December 1.

As the picture says, it was "an unforgettable ride," and everyone took home more than the memories of the scenic ride, but also the feeling of accomplishment and empowerment knowing that it was more than a ride for their own health, but one that had a mission of helping others.
