PRO-Keds is a name that has been around for over 60 years, and as the new century grows so does their line of outstanding footwear.

PRO-Keds debuted in 1949 with their original wonder, the Classic Royal. This shoe was a true innovator, and was designed to appeal to the more serious athlete. It would go on to be a part of basketball lore by appearing on some of the top players and teams in the game. In the 1970s, JoJo White, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Nate Archibald all chose PRO-Keds' Royal Master as their shoe of choice, further solidifying PRO-Keds as more than just a casual shoe.

As the years passed, PRO-Keds dominated the casual market, too, enjoying a lot of success in the 80s as teenagers embraced the cool, casual look of PRO-Keds. 1981 saw Sugar Ray Leonard become the spokesperson for PRO-Keds, keeping the athleticism with the brand.

In 2009, PRO-Keds partnered with leading fashion store Jeffrey NY on an exclusive collection of sneakers. With their other collaborations with musicians, designers and innovative ideas like the Keds Studio that allows you to design your own Keds, they have cemented their future as both an athletic shoe and a popular everyday kick for everybody!
