Help Bunions but Cuts Circulation

I like these shoes. Shoes run a bit small. I wear size 5.5 Nike Free and I wear 6 for Air Rift. While these shoes helps my bunions by separating my big toe to the others, the velcro rubber bands are cut way too short. That's the reason I labeled this shoes very narrow.
