I have another idea to spread the Ked message. As a teacher I would walk around my classes all day in my Keds and 150 students would say "oh, Miss, where did you get your Keds? Than as I walk around the high school of 4,000 more students and people would know that I think Keds are Kool. Than on to my home and family and once again all the fam will say "Are those really Keds you have on?" And that would be a YES and those who see me will try to ermulate me...and from there WATCH OUT MIAMI! Keds on my feet are a walking commercial.

The lovely city of Thousand Oaks, California would meet my pair of Keds while I ride around the outdoor mall and university on my unicycle! These shoes would be the center of attention wherever we went.

First I would pull on my favorite pair of Keds, then we would hit Miami! First I would take you to South Beach where we would spend some time soaking up the sun, then walk down the streets and experience the shops and the hustle and bustle of the city. At night we would go out to one of the three major club scenes: downtown, south beach, or the grove. All three of these areas offer tons of bars and clubs with all kinds of different atmospheres to suit anyone's fancy. It's always a party in Miami and the party always last all night! After some rest we could go visit some of the many attractions in Miami. Some of them are the zoo, Parrot Jungle Island, tons of museums, the Seaquarium, the Everglades, and historical Vizcaya. The best part about Miami is that you can never run out of things to do! And as long as you have your keds on, you can do it all in style and comfort!

We would both hop on bikes. I'd ride the beach cruiser, I'd let you ride my electric powered beach cruiser. We'd travel down the streets of Charleston stopping along King Street at local shops for drinks and fare. We'd eventually make our way down to Market Street and see all the horse drawn carriages, vendors, and women weaving baskets by hand. Lastly, we'd end up on the rooftop bar at Vendue to take in the city from high above with views of Charleston's historic water way and downtown's architectural mastery. Riding bikes is the perfect way to experience Charleston up close!

Irvine, where the air is clean and there are trees aplenty! I'd take you to the Irvine Spectrum, maybe watch a movie or go shopping and then I'd take you to 85 degrees bakery where they sell the best bread ever!

In Los Angeles, CA, you know the story...Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, Pink's Hot Dogs, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, etc etc.....BUT WE AIN'T DOIN ANY OF THAT TODAY! This time around we're gonna mix it up. Some touristy things, but I want you to get a taste of the local culture as well so you know we gotta hit up those hole-in-the-walls. First, we're starting off with a morning hike at Bronson Canyon which is gonna take us as close to the Hollywood Sign as legally possible. (If you're feeling a little daring, you can hop over the fence to actually touch the letters but I don't know how down I am with possibly getting arrested so that's all you!) Now that we've burned off those calories, it's time to eat them all back! (Better than not working out at all, right?) So off we go to The Alcove Cafe and Bakery for brunch. Next thing you know, we're hungry again and we need a mid-day snack. MILK is definitely where it's at. Some BLUE VELVET cake (yes, you heard right!) with bon bons and freshly baked chocolate chocolate chip cookies. Boy I hope we walked hard in the morning... Then around 1pm it'll be time for us to check in for The Ellen Show since I was able to secure tickets ahead of time! Ellen's show high energy show is always a good time and LOTS of dancing! Heading back towards downtown, it's time for some ramen in Little Tokyo. Daikokuya is my FAVORITE ramen spot, and because I only want what's best for you, I'm taking you here. Slurp slurp. Meal #3 down. What's next, you ask? A nice evening stroll in downtown LA for the monthly LA Artwalk. Tons of showrooms and a great place to people watch. Handmade crafts and clothing, food trucks galore! Just good vibes all around. But the day ain't over yet. It's time for some $3 beer (all day every day) at Dillon's Pub. With all our hard work and eating, I think we deserve this reward :). Nice and relaxed, and probably a little buzzed, I'd say this is a great finish to a wonderful day in Los Angeles.

I would kick up my keds and take you on the Riverwalk here in Columbia, South Carolina! After a nice walk we could go to the Vista and have some southern style wings!!

I'd throw on my Keds and the wonder that is Chicago!!! First we would hit up downtown and check out all the hot spots and all the sweet archatecture that this city has to offer. After that we would head over to Melinnium Park. Check out the BEAN! and zen garden. Perhaps catch a free concert they they have going on over there. We would also stop by Grant Park and check out the Buckingham Foutain and when the time comes the Taste of Chicago. Also we can't forget to take the shoes up to the top of the Willis Tower to give them the greatest view of the city immaginable. And finally to top it all of hit up lake shore and walk along the shore of Lake Michigan as a night cap. It will be glorious!!!

Minneapolis Minnesota is a mecca of fun! We have everything from Art and Science museums, to The Mall of America, but my favorite place that I would like to show you would be the Sculpture Gardens. There they have a giant spoon with a cherry in it. Wouldn't my new Keds look cute on top of that big ol' cherry! Momma needs a new pair of shoes and I love my Keds from Shoebacca!

You'd have to slip on your old, comfy Keds, cause our first stop would be at the humane society to walk a few dogs around the fairgrounds and snuggle a few cats at the shelter.
--By kittycat on Apr 05, 2011 at 09:42 am
I'm a medical student, so I plan to walk in style with these shoes (Good publicity, don't you think?). So if you like advertise your product to the more affluent community, I'm your guy.

In Perth, NY, we’ll first take you up in our two-seater Aeronca Champ to get an aerial view of the forests, beaver dam, beaver pond, and Chuctanunda Creek. Hope you’re ready to get your Keds dirty as soon as we land on the grass runway! We’ll grab a couple baskets, fishing poles, and our kayaks then paddle up the stream, past the beaver hut, to where we can pick berries in the forest. Next let’s cast our lines and catch a couple pink salmon for dinner. Now we’ll paddle back, pick some rhubarb on our way past the garden, mix up some pie dough from scratch, and bake a berry-rhubarb pie. While that’s in the oven, let’s head over to the neighbors on our four-wheeler and shoot some clay targets. Don’t forget to say “pull”! While the pie’s cooling we’ll pick some wild asparagus and start a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Don’t worry, I’ll gut the fish (yuck!). Mmmm nothing like fresh salmon and veggies grilled on an open fire. Whew it’s been a long day! Time to kick off our Keds, lean back by the fire, put our feet up, and tell stories as we enjoy dessert under the starry sky.

The first thing to do in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a new pair of Keds would be to walk them over the Stone Arch Bridge! This bridge crosses the beautiful Mississippi River, where during a night light view you will see the Guthrie Theater light up with it's blue reflective siding, the yellow Gold Medal Flour sign light up word by word, and the huge skyline light up in colors of white, yellow, purple, and the blue lights which follow under the new 35W bridge! You could walk your Keds all the way down the bridge through the entire skyline. Viewing the skyline and the entire city of Minneapolis from one place is absolutely stunning and always feels like a dream.

I live in Beautiful Fair Oaks, California, one mile from the cool, crisp down-flow of the American River. If you came for a visit, I'd let you borrow a bike and we'd pack a lunch and head out to the bike trails where we'd stroll at a decent pace, and I'd tell you the history of the native trees. We'd note how great it feels to have fresh air hit our faces. Stopping our ride for lunch at the rainbow bridge in Old Folsom, we'd sit on the old, giant rocks and eat our lunch while watching the rafts leisurely going by, and wave at the folks in the boats. There are so many river rocks everywhere-ones perfect for skipping. You'd probably do a much better job at skipping those rocks, but I'd gather the best rocks. We'd ride back to my place, say we must do this again and bid farewell. Next day we friend each-other on facebook, tag pictures, and be the envy of all. All while wearing our trusty KEDS.

Hello! To introduce you to our city of St. Paul, MN I'd slap on my white leather Ked's and we'd start with the Annual St. Paul Winter Carnival and the Royal Coronation of the Royal Family who will rein over the city of St. Paul for the 10 days of our Carnival of Ice and Snow which is held each January! We have two parades one day with the Royal Side and the second parade is at the end of the 10 days, which is the Vulcan side and in between we have many festivities, like ice carvings, snow carvings, a beer dabbler, Moon Glow walk with a torch light escort to the Capital. There are parties to attend and a "Royal Rock the Palace" with bands and many attendees from all over the nation and internationally. And all the while I am in my comfortable Keds enjoying every moment. Thank you All~!~~ Come see us!

I would line the path from the Riverwalk to the Alamo with 115 (the number of the defenders of the Alamo) pairs of Keds. Then I would take the shoes to Haven for Hope, our largest shelter for the homeless.

Welcome to my city, Houston, Texas, with spring temperatures among us these the perfect days to go out and enjoy what our city has to offer. First of all - the favorite color of the bunch that would be on our feet would have to be the red Keds; red is pretty much our city's representation from sports to cars we like it our colors bright. Too many places to visit in one day we'd have to settle on a week. As we enter the morning I think I'd have to take you to our shoreline of Galveston for a sunrise on The Gulf of Mexico to breath the morning fresh air as we walk down the coast. Then we would have a drive down for some spectacular shopping at The Galleria our most popular shopping center know for it's upscale anchor stores. What, what's wrong with window shopping? After a little window shopping we'd drop onto downtown because you have to ride the Metrorail - light rail; once completed it was the talk of the town. After the ride through downtown I would have to take you on a picnic in Herman Park. Yes, on our sunny weather we'd have to make room for cherry snowcones or watermelon after a BBQ and sweet iced tea lunch. Still in downtown we'd have to take a minute to visit our tallest building in Houston, the JPMorgan Chase Tower. I was ten the last time I visited but it's one place you won't regret visiting since you can see all around our city. Yes, you can see all our stadiums to as far away to what was once a wonder of the world, the Reliant Astrodome and you can barely see the coastline as well. Seventy-five floors down later and a few hours later we'd be closing in on midtown where the are various restaurants and bars and home of the hottest nightspots in Houston where we'd have to have a couple of drinks and ask for a few dances here and there as the night settles. The only last thing to down before retiring for the night would be to drive down our highways and enjoy the smell of the country and the big city as it mixes look up at the stars and know you are in the forth largest city in America but you are also surrounded by the wildness around Texas.

I live in New York City, so you already know how it goes down. Probably go to the city during the night time, go to Manhattan and get some Jamba Juice(Yeaaah, Jamba Juice!). From there, just do whatever the heck we want. NYC has a lot to offer.
--By punipenor on Apr 04, 2011 at 05:00 am
We would walk down Studio City's "Citywalk" in style with my fresh leather keds keepin' it real. Showing people that when it comes to style, keds are a must.

I put on my most comfortable pair of Keds and start hiking the hills of San Francisco!
