Rollerblade master Joe Navran loved making videos, but you can't wear a video. Thus became Franco Shade, a brand of streetwear inspired by rollerblading and yet is so much more. Though the brand is now defunct, its style remains a superb look for the urban set.

Established in 2005, Franco Shade was funded by Navran's poker playing, which gave him the freedom to really focus on Franco Shade. As its popularity grew, Navran was able to incorporate more of the rolling aspect to Franco Shade.

A combination of the rocky economy and a change in lead artwork by Arlo (of the Gost brand) forced Franco Shade to close up shop in the fall of 2009. SHOEBACCA.com is proud to offer gear from Franco Shade, and you're sure to love it!
