Nice sneaker but beware runs small

Cute shoes but the fit was not right. I wear a size 9 womens so I ordered these shoes in a 9. I have a normal width foot and they felt too tight on my feet. I barely had any room for my toes whatsoever. Luckily, my sisters b-day was coming up, she wears an 8 to 8 1/2 womens and I decided to give the shoes to her as a gift rather than return them.
