I've had these shoes for over a year now, wearing them at least 6 days per week and they still look good enough to garner compliments. They run a bit narrow, but last forever. My kids now wear Saucony and we don't go through shoes so fast anymore.
Saucony brand shoes focus its designs on each aspect of an athlete’s running style, from stride length to strike area and from foot dimensions to pronation. These highly specialized shoes cater to the needs of any runner be they on the trail or the road. Saucony even manufactures shoes specifically for collegiate athletes with their college line.
Saucony was founded in Kutztown, Pennsylvania on the banks of the Saucony Creek. Using this river as inspiration, Saucony found its name and even its logo, resembling the curving flow of a beautiful river. The three circles in the banner represent rocks or boulders found in the creek. They built their first factory in 1898 and production saw great success, gaining the attention of Hyde Athletic Industries. This company owned by Russian immigrant Abraham Hyde bought Saucony in the 1960’s. Hyde owned several other shoe companies at the time, but the satisfaction of Saucony customers and the success of each shoe design caused Hyde to rename his company. Now proudly called Saucony, the company focuses on manufacturing the same quality shoes it did over a century ago. Now based in Boston, Massachusetts, the company has partnered with Keds, Stride Rite, and Sperry Top-Sider to become a part of Wolverine Wolrd Wide. Partnership in this group allows for Saucony products to span over two hundred countries and territories, greatly increasing their product market and clientele. With every new shoe, Saucony strives to answer the needs of their ever growing number of buyers.
From Saucony originals to top of the line, lightweight performance track and field shoes, Saucony offers a wide variety of products including apparel made with the same high quality expected from such a brand. Saucony provides the gear necessary for championship seekers, those who desire nothing less than perfection.
