If you want a pair of boots that have been made to look worn by spraying on hot wax, get a pair of these. I tried to use a little leather cleaner and it melted the wax and now there are white spots all over. These are a piece of junk. Who wants to buy a new pair of boots that look like you should thrown them away when you get them????
The boots are nicer in person than in the picture. They do run a little bigger and wider than the bent rails, more true to size I think than other Justin's.
My daughter loved these boots!!! The color was fabulous.
Justin Boots is an American boot brand working to satisfy the needs of all boot wearers from ranchers, rodeo cowboys, casual wearers and hard workers in need of quality footwear. Originating in 1908 in Nicoma, Texas, the company was originally named H.J. Justin and Sons to honor the family company’s ownership. H.J. began his work many years earlier before this company however as he repaired boots in Gainsville, Texas.
Justin Boots was an innovative presence from the start. Using decorative stitching, H.J. was one of the first to employ multiple rows of stitching in order to strengthen the leather thus improving its quality and durability. His wife Annie also contributed to this innovation by creating a self measuring system in order for customers to use from home, broadening sales to anyone who could mail in their specifications. The company never stopped growing, as H.J.’s grandson John Justin Jr. invented the roper boots in 1954. These boots were specifically made to help calf ropers who were in need of a better boot design.
To this day the company continues to support the rodeo through the Justin Sportsmedicine Team which provides emergency medical attention to competitors and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, which provides help to rodeo athletes who have become injured through competition. This fun has raised over one million dollars to support and provide assistance to these athletes.
When it is time to purchase a serious, functional, yet attractively styled boot, choose Justin Boots.
The company has experienced expansive growth over the years, first partnering with Acme Brick Company to form the First Worth Corporation, and successively purchasing Nocona Boot Company, Chippewa Shoe Company and Tony Lama Boots.
Now based in Fort Worth, Texas, Justin Boots is now a leading boot manufacturer, using quality leathers and materials to fashion exceptionally practical boots, both unique in design and long lasting wear.
