Cocona

Cocona is a natural technology that utilizes charcoal (or activated carbon) derived from coconut shells. The Medicare/HCPCS billing code A5500 applies to quality, therapeutic depth shoes for diabetics. To qualify, shoes must be made from leather or other suitable material of equal quality, and have some form of closure and full-length, heel-to-toe fillers or insoles that, when removed, provide a minimum of 3/16'' of additional depth used to accommodate custom-molded or customized inserts.
