With backgrounds from companies like Simple, Nike, Polo and Teva and roots in skating, surfing snowboarding and architecture, they are creating in incredible product range. They're targeting "Cultural Creatives"-- a class of people who are responsible for designing and communicating many of the products and services you use today. Medium believes quality, simplicity and distinctiveness are virtues for this group of people.

First off, these shoes are super comfy and light weight. I'm on me feet all day and needed a pair of lightweight/comfy shoes, plus these shoes look great.
They held up for about a year of daily usage, then started to get small tears, but still lasted 2-3x longer than my slip on vans/converse. Only bad thing is that it runs a bit on the narrow side, but most of these type of shoes do so it isn'... Read more

The Arborist is a funky, comfortable shoe. The cork sole provides a soft step with little weight. Like a moccasin, with a little more urban, laid-back style. Four rather than five stars because it feels a little lightly constructed -- I'm not sure how the sole to upper connection will hold up, and not sure how the sole will hold up. That being said, I'm very happy with the shoe so far.

These are best shoes to have for a dog owner. I have an apartment on the third floor and I running up and down the stairs with my little buddydog every day. Nothing like have a good pair of slip-ons to get you out and in house quickly. They fit great and I just leave them by the door.
