I usually can only wear Clark's Wave shoes or New Balance SL2 styles because all others are too tight in the toe. I needed a Gortex shoe for hiking we plan to do in a rainy climate. I really like this paire of shoes, i use it for ultra trail 80 km.
I normally like a bit cushion shoes and this one have nice cushioning for long run.
The room in the front foot should be a bit larger.

I have recently moved from street running to the trail. I have to say these shoes are absolutely amazing. They provide such great traction and support while I am running on the trail that I hardly want to take them off when I am done. I can not recommend these shoes enough. If you are a trail runner, you can not go wrong with these La Sportiva shoes.
