I originally bought these boots in brown on another site and I loved them right away. I then was faced with a challenge of finding black boots. I bought these a half size up from my usual size and I am glad I did. The heels run a little narrow and the toes a little wide. They need some serious arch support insoles but the leather looks and feels great on them. They hit right at mid-calf for me (I am 5'8

Shoes are really cute, but as a 9.5, my toe hits the end of the shoe. A full size too small. (without socks)
And if you have a high arch, the edge of the shoe may rub on your arch/ankle bone.

Very nice comfortable shoes, only thing is they run about a full size too small, but other than that, I LOVED them!!
