Aravon produces a line of casual footwear aimed at active baby boomers in the 40-ish to 60-ish age bracket. A member of the New Balance family of footwear, Aravon's quality footwear combines the supportive technology of New Balance's athletic shoes with fashionable and sleek designs to create shoes that are attractive and comfortable. Aravon's styles include office, everyday and sandal collections, as well as Traversa travel footwear.

Aravon debuted in the spring of 2004, and was an immediate hit on the market. "We take a clinical approach but apply style to it," states Gretchen Weimer, brand manager for Aravon. "We target the active, aging baby boomers. They are in the work place; they are active; they dress and feel a lot younger than their age."
