Schralped - To remove a few layers of skin from your body.
Session - A time that you go out and skate.
Set - A grouping of stairs, typically referred with a number counting the
stairs.
Sheep - A person that follows others just to be cool.
Shove It - A simple trick, spinning the skateboard 180 degrees from the ground,
arguably an even easier trick to learn than an "Ollie."
Shred - To be good with instruments.
Sick - Meaning awesome, skillful, or sweet.
Sketchy - A trick that needs some work, or looked poor.
Slaughter - To "bust" a trick; used more often than "bust" in the northern
skateboarding territories (New England).
Smooth - A trick that is performed above normal standards, but not quite sick.
Stoked - To be really excited about something.
Street - Style of skating involving curbs, rails, and pyramids; also done on the
streets.
Suspect - When a photograph or video clip looks like the skater didn't actually
land it.
Switchstance - A reversal of the skater’s usual stance, often confused with "Fakie,"
but switch stance looks normal; you would not be able to tell whether a skater
is riding "Switch Stance" if you didn’t know his or her normal stance.
