Ledge - Concrete such as a curb or park bench that is fit for grinding. A
ledge is differs from a rail being that a rail is no wider than the width of
average size trucks (7.75 inches).
Lipslide - Raising the board’s rear truck over an object such as a rail or
ledge, and sliding along it; the opposite of a "Boardslide."
Locals - The kids that frequently session an area that you're in.
Mellow - To be calm and relaxed.
Missle Tip - When your board's nose becomes angled and pointy, usually from bad
kickflips.
Mobbed - A not-so-great trick.
Mongo - To push the board with the irregular pushing foot. For instance, if your
stance was goofy, you would push with your right foot.
Nollie - An "Ollie" off the skateboard’s nose end, requires more skill than an
"Ollie."
Nose - The front end of the board, between the front wheels and the front edge
of the board.
Nosegrind - "Grinding" with only the front "Truck" on the rail.
Noseslide - Sliding the bottom of the "Nose" along an object such as a rail.
Nups - When someone out performs your tricks. Shortened from "One-Ups," an
allusion the the Nintendo game "Super Mario Bros," wherein "One-Up" meant an
extra life.
Nus- When someone is spaced out or not paying attention.
